Registration Information
Gathering Costs
Costs vary based on date of registration, choice of accommodation, meal plan participation, age, length of stay, and financial aid.
- Gathering Fee: Your contribution towards firewood, torch fuel, prayer flags, necklaces, photocopies, rope, administrative costs, and many other minor expenses. Any surplus income goes to purchase equipment,
fund financial aid, make investments to enhance the quality of future Gatherings, and to refund the organizers their Gathering costs.

Accommodations: Choose camping, bunkhouse, or stables room. All bathrooms have flush toilets and
hot showers.
Tent Camping — Bring your own tent, and maybe a sunshade for more comfortable daytime sleeping.
Bunkhouses — These have bunk beds for up to 16 people. Each bed
comes with a mattress, but no linens or pillows.
"Stables" Rooms — These semi-private rooms have two to four bunk beds with mattresses, but no linens or pillows. We have a minimum occupancy of two adults or youths, though you may also pay extra to meet minimum occupancy.
Note: The venue no longer has yurts.
The venue offers $3 accommodations for the Early Village Builders to those who register for the whole Gathering and actively participate in setup.
The venue charges the following daily, per-person rates, based on accommodation type and age:

Note: Choosing indoor accommodations can save you from lugging tents and tarps, and may prove more comfortable than camping, should we have rainy weather.
- Optional Meal Plan: $25 per day.
The venue offers fresh "summer camp" fare. The kitchen will serve vegetarian meals every day, with meat options at dinner and most other meals on the more populated days (likely Thursday through Sunday). View a sample menu.
If you have special dietary needs (such as high-protein, vegan, or macrobiotic), we suggest bringing foods to supplement the camp meals.
The meal plan begins with dinner the day you arrive.
You may choose to bring your own food and camp stove
to the Gathering. However, please consider:
- The facility has no refrigeration, ice,
or kitchen facilities available for our use.
- The venue's fire safety policies require
you to cook in designated areas only.
- It takes about a half hour to drive to the nearest store.
- Preparing your own meals may take time away from socializing, sleeping, and attending playshops.
Your Non-Financial Contribution
We experience deeply participatory Gatherings due to the contributions of service that every person makes. It takes the whole community to assemble our sacred and functional spaces. It takes all of us doing our fair share to then return the site to its original state.
When you register, you'll be asked to indicate the service team you prefer to join. You can read descriptions of the teams on the Village Building page.
Once the basics are covered, there are many ways to enhance our Gathering ; offer playshops, lead discussion, meditation, or instructional sessions, create altars, volunteer your lifeguarding skills, make offerings of poetry and ritual in the circle, paint faces, and so on (for a list of other possibilities, go to the Village Building page).
All you need to do to make it happen
is to just make it happen!
Minors
Minors can attend the Gathering when accompanied
by their parent or legal guardian. An adult
may bring someone else's child if they provide the Minor's Release Form and Waiver Form signed by the
child's parent or legal guardian. Minors who have not registered, or who arrive without the requisite form(s) will be sent home, with no refunds made.

11:59 PM, Sunday, December 11th.
Use our online registration form and pay online via PayPal.
When we receive your full payment, we will complete your registration and email you more information, including the gate combination and detailed driving instructions.
When you register, we will add you to the Fire
Tribe Discussion eGroup (if you haven't already subscribed) so you can meet your Fire Tribe Hawaii community, arrange rides, get involved with planning, and read
last-minute updates.
We consider your registration confirmed only when we receive your full payment. Please read the cancellation
policy before you register.
Paying the Gathering Fees
We are all unpaid volunteers for Fire Tribe Hawaii; so for everyone's ease and convenience, PayPal is being used as the payment method of choice. If you don't have a PayPal account, you can create one when you pay - it's easy - and you can pay with a credit card.
